The team from “Hunkes” is very much looking forward to this years´ Europa Cup in Sandhamn. For some crew members it’s a premiere travelling to Sweden, for other crew members sailing and racing in Sweden became a beloved tradition.

GER 114 “Hunkes” was one of the seven skerry cruisers arriving from Lake Constance for the first Europa cup in Sandhamn 1980 with the former engaged owner Reinhold Böhler. With him, “Hunkes” participated successfully 8 times in the Europa Cup in Sweden. In 2010 Reinhold gave “Hunkes” into the hands of Christoph, the new helmsman sailing on “Hunkes” from the beginning starting at the age of 12. “Hunkes” has been participating in many races and loves travelling, participating also at Les Voiles de St. Tropez 2018 and 2019. A mixed crew, both sex and interest, family as well as distillers and sail enthusiasts, is keen to sail in Swedish waters in August 2024..
