Built in England by a furniture maker. “Spirit” spent her early years on Lake Champlain in Vermont, USA. In the mid 90’s she was shipped to where she belongs, the Stockholm Archipelago. She was successfully campaigned for many years by Skip Sheldon in numerous Europa Cups and Swedish Championships. After Skip’s passing, he designated a longtime crewmember as caretaker of this special design, therefore keeping her in the “family.”

In 2023 after a longtime in the shed we brought her out for Stadshuset Regatta. Because of some possible scoring irregularities, we finished last. However, we were absolutely overjoyed to be part of such a beautiful sailing spectacle.
Our family is very excited to visit Sandhamn again this summer.
