I fell in love with skerry cruisers on a business trip to Stockholm in 1995.  We were on a boat trip near Sandhamn with a couple of these wonderful ships sailing all around us. It took me another 15 years to acquire one. WUNDERKIND is a newly built Reimers design (Michelsen Werft, Lake Constance), sailed the Long Island Sound for 5 years, and is now ‘at home’ in Berlin.

We are a crew of friends (two exclaimed sailors) from our hometown, Kiel. We’ve been racing with Wunderkind for almost 15 years now. Rather occasionally. Always difficult to get everyone together. Clearly, surprised the Lake Constance fleet in 2010 when in her first ever regatta Wunderkind won the Peri Cup, the traditional final race of the year.

We are excited to come to Sandhamn and very much look forward to a couple of days of racing and friendship
