Spring is still a few week away in Sweden but preparation for the Sk30 Europe Cup is ongoing. Next week the Stockholm Boat Show (Allt för Sjön) opens with the Sk30 163 Pani fully rigged as the main attraction. The Swedish Sk30 Association will be there to ensure that everyone will know about the Europe Cup this summer.
Registration opens
Next week on Tuesday the 5th of March we will reach an important milestone as the formal Invitation will be released by the Royal Swedish Yacht Club (KSSS). Along with this the registration for the Regatta Dinner will also open and we recommend all participants to secure your seat at the dinner as soon as possible.
All skippers that have made a preliminary registration will receive a email reminder on Tuesday with links to the formal invitation.
Boat launch
The Swedish Sk30 organisation in Sweden have arranged for a launch of boats at Bullandö Marina, a commercial marina about 1 hour sail from Sandhamn. The launch is scheduled for Monday the 5th of August and then lift on Monday the 12th of August. We have also arranged for the possibility to launch boats on Tuesday the 6th of August and to lift boats on Sunday the 11th of August.
There will be a formal registration process for boat launch and lift. You will receive a separate mail for this after your registration for the race.
Accommodation
There are still a few beds available for those who have not sorted out your reservation with the hotel Sandhamns Seglarhotel. Send me an email to secure a bed at the hotel. [ bengt@sareyko.se ]
Along with the opening of the registration there will be a possibility to register for a bed at KSSS Youth Camp at Lökholmen. The cabin holds 8 beds and you will be organised together with other teams. There will be a link available on the KSSS homepage by Tuesday 5th of March for registration.

Get ready for the informal gathering on Thursday the 7th of August when the Swedish Sk30 Association invites all participants and relatives to Lökholmen.
